You will have to sign the title to them, and they will let you stay in the house but you will be a renter. You will still be able to build equity, but it saves you from foreclosure. Unfortunately, since you do not own the house you can be kicked out at any time. The company that saved you could be the one who leaves you with no place to live in the end. That is the very bad part about this.

Pay More to Avoid

Some companies say all you need to do is pay them money and they will help you avoid foreclosure in your life. Some people want this to go away so bad that they will throw money at whatever they to get it to end. This is not smart and can come back to bite you. Sometimes you will be out some serious money and have no help to show for it. This is why you need to give some thought before you throw money at a problem to make it go away. You always want to see some sort of improvement for your finances.

Finally there are some people who will come and offer you money to help bail you out of foreclosure. This is very shady and needs to be watched out for. They are going to want something out of this and you need to find out what it is. They are not just going to be nice and give you money. Make sure money you get is really helping you because a bailout could mean that you pay much more to the person who bailed you out. If you really overlook this process and think that it can work then alright, but just keep a watchful eye.
